The Republicans in Congress have grown accustomed to their own faces bearing tiretracks and bootmarks. They’re not going to do anything. They’re going to be nice. They’re going to get along. They’re going to prove just how nice they can be.
That sound you hear is that of a nation governed by law being flushed down.
