I am so disappointed in Notre Dame’s decision to give him an honorary degree. That smug look he always has on his face was in fine form that day. He had that look of “see, I won again! I am the Messiah of Notre Dame!” He once said he would never punish his daughters by making them have a baby if they were to get pregnant. He supported the Born Alive bill that would allow aborted babies that are born alive in a botched abortion to be murdered. Notre Dame should be ashamed for letting the most prominent Catholic University in the U.S. be used to further this man’s agenda. They gave him the chance to produce so much public controversy that did nothing but make the University look like a fool, and gave him the spotlight he loves so much. Notre Dame is the loser in this because there are many people who will no longer give financial support, including me. Obama is the winner because he proved he can get anyone to renounce their values for the chance to have his “greatness” in their midst.
