Am I the only one that remembers that Jimmy Carter threw Taiwan under the bus in the late 70′s (along with Iran and the Panama Canal) because he didn’t have the balls to stand up to the then posturing Red Chinese?
It doesn’t matter what the dynamics are in Taiwan, so long as there is a neo-stalinist, revisionist presense in the electorate and Congress of the United States (known locally as Democrats).
