Obama’s reasoning that Gitmo and waterboarding is keeping America unsafe from terrorists is totally flawed. Gitmo happened years after Taliban and Al Qaida waged war on the West. And, Clinton started renditions which were exponentially harsher on the terrorists detainees than waterboarding ever could be.
It’s like Obama thinks the American people are so stupid that he can say whatever he wants, without any hint of accuracy, historical factuality or logic, and the American people will believe him. Sadly, those who still are in awe of him and have been enraptured by the messiah effect, are lost causes no matter what facts they’re given, and these brainwashed fools would follow Obama over the cliff, a la Jim Jones, with no hesitation. The problem is, he’s not going to jump. He’ll lead you to the edge, then watch you all fall.
