It has been known that hours before the first bombs fell on Iraq that Saddam had ‘tractor-trailers of money’ moved into Syria. I read from someplace, but cannot find the article again, that the amount of money that was removed would fit into a van, yet a caravan of tractor trailers left the country. It is conceivable that these were also moving WMD’s and got buried somewhere in Syria. I am astonished that I have never read this analogy anywhere, and I have thought of it for years since the invasion.
