Rea–Because the Florida Supreme Court based its decision solely on partisan politics and not existing state law, the Supreme Court was right in stepping in.
The New Jersey Supreme Court, which was also jam-packed with left-wing party hacks, tossed aside state law in order to permit Frank Lautenberg to replace the existing, doomed-to-lose, candidate long after the legal cut-off date. Unfortunately, the U.S. Supreme Court allowed them to get away with that farce. Just because a state Supreme Court makes aruling, it doesn’t make it right and it doesn’t even make it legal.
