Actually, what happened with Kelo is exactly why we must all resist any infringement on our constitutional rights. That document is NOT one that breathes. It was written to protect the people from a government run amok by power brokers seeking profit at the expense of those who cannot defend themselves against power & money.
The ONLY reason many seek to take away guns is to assure themselves victory when they finally reveal themselves as the tyrants they are. At that time, and with no guns to do way with the government that has become corrupt, the people cannot defend themselves. That is their plan folks, reduce people to defenseless targets.
We must demand our rights remain intact. We must demand our courts see our laws as they are written, not as some want or feel they should be. If changes are called for, our system allows for change. But it requires one to legally do so according to rules in those founding documents. Its difficult to do. This is why they see judicial fiat rather than constitutional amendment. Judges can be bought & paid for or they can be ideological pawns of collectivist causes. The laws as written require them & all to abide by what is written, unless the people approve otherwise.
The Constitution & the Bill of Rights protect “ALL’ of us from BOTH sides of the political aisle. Whether left or right, those written laws protect us all. Unless some with ulterior motives convince judges to issue rulings that favor one side over the other!
Corporations want laws they can manipulate. We the people must demand our laws reflect fairness to ALL of us, not just the wealthy & politically powerful.
