#17 — When you have a religious motivation to kill all but your own people, that is far worse than atheism, because you will never change their minds.

#16 — In the book Muslims were behind it…in the movie…right wing whites.
Maybe the problem was that filming it that way would make it look more like a repeat of 543 prior military/terrorist films (e.g. Chuck Norris in Delta Force, etc.) How many commando movies assaulting middle eastern types can one watch before it’s all a “been there/done that” blur? In other words, I think they were trying to avoid cliche.
On the other hand, they failed. Would have been better to leave the bad guys alone.
But claiming that Hollywood is scared of middle eastern bad guys is simply laughable.
