#212 – Should Obama fail, the only viable alternative is the GOP. If the voters reject his excess this is *not* the same thing as them demanding a hard right turn.
I would not say that a return to the supply-side economics that has been the foundation for our country’s greatest prosperity, as well as that of other countries that emulated the American model to great success, is such a hard right turn. Point of fact, supply-side has been quite mainstream for the past 30 years.
Our fellow Americans, who experienced the Great Depression, would be quite amused to see that we can say in all seriousness, that someone who owns an IPOD, a cellphone, a computer, a DVD player and one or more TVs, is impoverished.
