We must, politely but firmly, take to task our relatives and friends who still take seriously the MSM. They are behaving in an immature manner.
Cowardly would be a more accurate description. By following the crowd (and buying the MSM line is a form of following the crowd), they’re deferring to the group. I’ve known such people, and what they really want is to avoid making waves. The seek approval, but more than that, they avoid conflict at all costs.
Yes, you’re right, that not allowing them to escape controversy will remedy this. Once it’s clear that running to the media consensus will no longer guarantee a conflict-free existence, they’ll realize that they have no choice but to look in that dusty drawer for their brains, and actually think for the first time in years.
