Congress is full of old men who have made careers out of what should have been a ten to twelve year stint. They have no idea that most of the voters are younger than they are. And although in their first chance to vote, they pushed Obama into office, I suspect that as they move into the real world or paychecks, taxes and what I like to call living, they will wise up and regret what is coming down the pike. As to whether we will be able to back away from these big scary programs, I don’t know. But I think the change we see now is not the change we will see four years from now.
