Hey, rhetoric goes a long ways. We used to call the boss a fascist when I worked at the phone company, and I’m sure I ran into more than a few fascist teachers back in the day.
But historically…historically fascism was a right-wing movement. They were rabidly anti-communist, and really really hated liberals.
Here’s a little quote from Mussolini from an essay called “The Doctrine of Fascism.”
