#118 Herb:
“Recently I saw Mitt Romney, the Great White Hope, speaking at a rebranding rally, saying that Republicans are “revolutionaries” and Democrats are “monarchists.””

In six months time, no one outside of his constituents, his partisans, or peculiar flavors of Liberal who attend GOP “re-branding” rallies,(??!!??), will recognize him as anything more than the proud support for a head of spectacular hair.

“You’d really score it that low? How do you figure?”

“Free” media available to the Right is limited, so the more crap that THEY spew, the less of it gets heard.
As opposed to the Left, where some anti-American neo-faux Marxist can fart, and the New York Times will “sell” it like Chanel #5, but on the editorial page as “Opinion and Commentary”.

“…as there is no such thing as monarchists in this country and the “revolutionaries” the last few decades have been wearing Che Guevara T-shirts and whining about the G8.”

Say…have you heard of the Kennedys?
now THERE’S a crew that neatly encapsulates both ends of your stated spectrum.

“There are two men on the right who should never use that word: Mitt Romney and George W. Bush. After all, it’s a very monarchist idea that the son should wield his father’s power, no?”

I asked the Gores,(Senior and Junior), that; and any number of Byrds, and also the Roosevelts…they said they’d get back to me.
