Isn’t that exactly what they’re hoping to do now?
Give the Dems the Congress and the White House, let them do their thing in pandering to their far outside-the-mainstream radical constituencies, and then wait for the inevitable popular backlash that blows them all right back into the minority, where they will languish for half a generation or more.
