To CJ from Illinois: did you actually ever *watch* the discussion between Obama and Wurzelbacher in its entirety? There was no fumbling at all. You guys constantly mock Obama’s use of a teleprompter, but he’s actually not so bad on the fly, in the midst of a Presidential campaign, and giving some some random, skeptical dude in the crowd, way, WAY more time than he deserves:
Now look how right wing Fox News parsed this and how “Joe the Plumber” tried to spin it into something with no resemblance at all to the full discussion:
And you can thank the guy sitting across from Obama in this video for the subsequent press curiosity into Wurzelbacher’s background:
