I listen to NPR because it is the one station I can wake up to without having to endure any “clever” or “funny” DJs. No ads. Long stories. Interesting bits. Great music. Does it have a slant? You betcha. I can hear the slant and it hasn’t turned me into a liberal yet. I would much rather listen to NPR with a judicious ear than listen to Fox News and get lulled into not thinking at all because it echoes the way I think.
