sheesh 27 – I am new to this site so I’d be surprised if you have any comments from me before 2009. I have been many things but rarely caught napping when it comes to politics. For the record, I voted for the Democratic candidate in 1984, 1988, 1992, 1996, 2000, and 2004. I am a centrist (Reagan & Hillary Democrat) and BHO was and is too far left, too much in favor of talk vs. action, and too vague to get my support. The incongruency between his words and actions is startling and on that, he is consistent.
56 Andrew, thanks for your post. My father served in WWII, as did my uncle who is buried in France. My brother was in the Navy and both grandfathers served in WWI. I did not always agree with Bush but I never doubted his patriotism. If the current labeling choices are “right wing extremist” or Obama supporter, I’ll take option #1.
