Oh come on; that entire cut & paste diatribe was and exercise in imbecility. I think you ought to read the Mencken part of your comment and ask yourself how, exactly, you’re exempt from what it describes. I mean, it’s mighty white of you to keep coming around here to let us know how much smarter than everyone else you think you are. Maybe next time you can regale us with examples of how you became a legend in you own mind.

Alas, qouting delusional narcissistic philosophers or elitist journalists doesn’t make you like one them any more than wearing a leather coat makes you a cow (your incessant lowing notwithstanding). This whole “you’re all stupid & have no original ideas” becomes even more laughable when your last attempt at witty commentary consisted of you repeating the same trash you – like so many others just like you – said before, all while quoting other people who, unlike you, actually accomplished something in life, ambiguous though it may be.

I really did enjoy the Scopes twist you capped it with. If you were genuinely familiar with the facts of that matter, you would know how hilarious the Scopes reference is. The “Scopes Monkey Trial”, from start to finish, was a publicity stunt; that’s all it was. But it became a liberal legend, and to this day there are the unfortunate millions of indoctrinated public school graduates and uninformed pseudo-intellectuals – two groups you have more in common with than either Neitzche or Mencken -that took it as another factual example of scientific opression. Opression at the menacing hands of the Clarence Darrows of the world & the Religious Right, whoever that’s supposed to be; perhaps it’s Emmanuel Goldstein’s contemporaries…who knows?

They truly believe that ‘Inherit the Wind’ was nearly an unintentional documentary. So what if it was 2% reality & 98% hype…the film itself served that all-encompassing Greater Truth™ that the protofascist left uses when they’re at a loss for substantial reasoning ability (yet another 98th percentile placement). The film & other adaptations of it were, until fairly recently, shown in public schools like they were PSAs.

Look, we get it. You’re absolutely convinced that you and your ideological platform are superior to everything & everyone to the contrary. You feel so strongly about it that you feel like we need to believe it, too.
I couldn’t help but notice you tried your hand at arm-chair psychoanalysis and your rather conspicuous attempts to pepper your comments with terms you think will make you seem smarter than you really are, but I feel it’s my resposibility to inform you that you’re merely coming across as a sanctimonious jackass.

I don’t say that to insult you. Seriously. The person who is that transparent in such a desperate cry for attention is a worthy of at least some pity. Therefore, I’m truly sorry that you have such an empty life that this failed attempt at autonomy here is the best hope for a percieved victory you can get.

Let me send you on your way with a quote from a self-delusional fool, as you may be able to relate:

“In other words it’s a time to take a look at ourselves and stop worrying about the other guy. That is maturity. Does the left have the moral fiber to do that? I’m not sure it does.” (emphasis mine)

Like I said, the guy was a fool (and an unqualified one at that) but even a fool can sometimes get it right – even if he forgets it later. Perhaps you should think about that for a while.
