Thanks for an insightful article. This piece is about as good as it gets at explaining what the public believes is “the unexplainable.” The record is clear enough. Labels like “Republican” and “Democrat”, “conservative” and “liberal” or “Christian”, “Jewish”, or “Islamist” don’t seem to matter. It’s time we began to understand the behavior as something else besides “cheating” or “immorality” and looked at it as a part of the fabric of the human condition.
