Well, it’s proof of what they keep saying as the reason why women must keep completely covered and hidden — see what happens when they don’t? Just the sight of a partially-revealed woman outside the brothel (perhaps showing some ankle), or maybe even the knowledge that inside the brothel there would be uncovered women, has the power to overcome an upstanding man and make him do what they obviously want. Not his fault at all — all theirs. Right?
