Every day brings a steady drumbeat of bad news coming from that cabal of idiots the 53% fell in love with. I can only take so much of this and thus I do not daily follow it all. It’s either too damn depressing or it makes me want to pull the few remaining hairs out of my scalp. I get my news here at PJM, at nationalreview.com, frontpagemag.com, and americanthinker.com. Sometimes I watch FOX News and the Jim Lehrer News Hour. I never watch the MSM and only read local papers for local news.
I find myself retreating into sports – the Red Sox and Boston Bruins, as a healthy diversion. Besides which, I daily have to trek to Catholic Medical Center in Manchester, NH to see my Mom, who just had emergency open heart surgery. I have my priorities set correctly. Keep my sanity. Help my family. When not visiting Mom and going to work, I am taking care of my own family.
Morons like Eric Holder, although they can do a lot of harm to the country, do not grab my respect or attention beyond the basic facts. I know the next four years are going to be a f___ing disaster in foreign policy, economics, and military preparedness. I expect the worst and so far am not being disappointed.
Everybody, hang on to your sanity. It IS going to get a lot worse. Those very few of us who did their research and homework about Obonga even before the primary season knew what he was about. Hardly anyone listened to us. Only a few people I know took me seriously. The rest thought he was gonna be great and thought I was being a curmudgeon “wingnut.”
