I guess Paul Volcker didn’t know we were in economic turmoil back in the early fall of 2008? So much for him as an advisor. And the 26 years Robert Rubin spent at Goldman Sachs didn’t prepare him to advise the campaigning Obama back in September of the pending doom? Surely Lawrence Summers knew what was coming – he didn’t advise either?
For Obama to admit that he and his stellar advisors were this clueless is KEY evidence of their incompetence to repair it or KEY evidence that he’ll lie about anything to the general public because he knows they’ll believe it.
