There is one chance for settling the war without a bloodbath. That is everybody must cut off the Palestinian Arabs from all transfer payments of all kinds. No more unearned money, goods, or services must be given to the Palestinian Arabs. Only what they earn through trade and work may be allowed to flow into Gaza or, for that matter, the PA territories. If the Palestinian Arabs have to work for a living instead of living on handouts they (hopefully) will be too busy to try to kill the Jews, no matter how badly they want to. Let them work or starve, it will be up to them.
As for any disadvantages Gaza may have in terms of natural resources and all, well Israel doesn’t have much in the way of those things either, and Israel’s per capita income is significantly higher than that of all Arab countries except a couple of Gulf Shiekhdoms. Hong Kong had no resources at all, not even water, but its people worked their way into a First World economy. But then, the Hong Kong Chinese lived in freedom under British rule, while the Palestinian Arabs live under their own rule.
My scenario will not happen. Too many Musllims support the Palestinian Arabs’ lust to commit genocide on the Jews, too many Europeans are copacetic with that idea and see payoffs to the Palestinian Arabs as Danegeld to buy off Muslim hostility (vainly). No, there will be a bloodbath, and most of the blood shed will be Arab.
