If the Arabs have given up on Gaza then why all the Arab demonstrations during Israel’s incursion into Gaza last week? Libya also stood on the side of Hamas at the UNSC. I guess the Arabs are still happy to see Israel bleed.
There are probably only 1.1 million Arabs in Gaza, not the 1.5 million usually stated. Hamas lies about that too. The population density of Gaza is probably no more than that of Tel Aviv or the upper east side of Manhattan. No need to aid Hamas with its exaggerations of how bad things are in Gaza.
Hamas acts like the Native American Ghost Dancers who, as their society was being destroyed by the influx of settlers and the blue jackets, invented a delusional religious practice that they believed would protect them from the whites. Yes Hamas are delusional but perhaps if they can wait things out until Iran gets the bomb things will go better for them.
