Yes, it is quite interesting that FOX would make such a decision. I don’t recall them refusing to broadcast any speeches by the previous President. Any idea why they would change their policy now?
It has been clear for some time that FOX is not a news source – it is a propaganda outlet for big business and moneyed interests. Their refusal to carry this speech is just more sour grapes. Playing to the base is about all the GOP has right now, and that explains quite easily the recent defection of Senator Specter to the Democratic Party as well.
I’m elated that we finally have a President that takes the job seriously.
