I agree, even smart Brits and Europeans are clueless when it comes to the U.S. They simply don’t understand why we are different and what drives us. There’s too many things to count, but #1 is we believe our country is good and worth defending and we believe in a robust defense. The Brits and Europeans don’t believe in themselves and have zero will to defend themselves, thus make common cause with their enemies.
Secondly, whiney leftists excluded, most Americans don’t give a hoot what Europe or anyone else thinks about us. I certainly don’t. 9/11 cemented that. Playing nice only ensures the next attack will come sooner rather that later. Why else do all our enemies and all foreign weaklings want to see either Obama or Clinton in the WH? Think about it.
I’d rather have hatred for being strong than contempt and attacks for being weak.
