Here we go again, “the disasters of the second Iraq War.” Which of these points are “disasters:” the killer Saddam out, elections held, press freed, representative government formed, infrastructure upgraded, Iraqi Army strengthened, AQI crippled, and PEW Global Attitudes survey data showing declining Arab support for OBL and suicide bombing. Of course we are no way near the successful completion of this worldwide effort, but “disasters?” Frankly, given current European values and attitudes, if they “liked” us I would be afraid, very afraid that we were becoming more like them.
