It has always been thus. As being on the receiving end of lots of abuse both student and staff generated at Colby College in the 80s this just seems as same old same old.
Liberal arts colleges in the US are anything but liberal when it comes to free speech for the right.
And yes the shut down the right of center magazine because of a few cartoons that offended the left.
