The IRA v. Islamic terrorism are not analogous. We have not sought to change their nations or internal beliefs unless they have exported violence. Nor should we.
It is the Islamic Terrorists who insist you and I either convert to Islam or become Dhimmi. A dhimmi is a second class person with reduced rights living under Sharia law.
Even full rights under Sharia would be shocking to most of us. No free speech. No right to arms. Women have no rights at all, and are routinely tortured and killed for “offenses” like driving, being alone with a non-relative male, etc. Homosexuals are killed. Genocide of Jews, practicing or not.
Our demand: just don’t kill our people.
Their demand: total surrender to them, and total subjugation.
Chris, which of YOUR freedoms are you willing to part with? Which of the women you know are you willing to see stoned to death? Have any homosexual friends?
