Frankly, I wonder how close Obama’s church is to any group of Christian churches.
A church that characterizes its membership as black first and Christian second, then starts announcing its allegiance to the black community and the African homeland, describing its values in Marxist terms and blaming American society for the suffering of blacks, seems to be a black political movement masquerading as a Christian church.
A core teaching of Christianity is that all Christians are one in Christ without respect to gender, status, nationality, or race.
