Every problem , in G Alston’s eyes, is to be found in the conservative reaction to leftist misdeeds. The Left is “hijacking science” for socialist purposes, but we are to blame for their success. We can’t promote ANY government spending because we object to FOOLISH government spending. This ham-handed analysis, replete with angry denunciation of all things conservative, leads me to conclude that it is not an empty suit we are dealing with here. Rather, a sheep suit. Overstuffed at that.
