You’ve made good points. The only thing that I would add is that investors are terrified of putting their money into the economy because nobody can guess what is going to be nationalized next. If such figures exist, perhaps you might want to look into whether U.S. investor capital is now being directed overseas to economies that operate on more predictable capitalist models.
