The rebuttal post by the troll above notwithstanding, your facts seem o.k. by me. Since 1992, the Democrats thirsted so much for power, that when they got back to congress in 2007, they behaved (and are behaving) like hicks in a whorehouse with a credit card. Talk about stepping on dicks!
Sure, Clinton had a 66% approval rating, the guy worked with a more-or-less conservative congress during a time of relative prosperity. Ask the troll if he ever heard of the Dot-Com bubble (that sucked half of the IT people off the market) and pending Y2K problem (that sucked the other half of the IT people off the market) and late 1990s real-estate boom?
And, to be clear, if many of us had a choice between Clinton and his administration the plate-of-dog-turds that passes itself off as federal government since 01-20-2009, I am sure we would consider the dress stains and cigar shennigans the “good old days”.
Hell, even Madeline Half-Bright and the phone-it-in, lob-a-couple-of-cruise-missiles-at-an-aspirin-factory foreign policy is better than President Training Pants’ fit of vapors over a bunch of brigands with rusty AKs staring down a U.S. Navy Can in the Indian Ocean.
