Does he really believe that in the pre-Bush era we all got along (cf. his al Arabiya interview); then Bush’s strutting, unilateralism, and preemption, presto, caused anti-Americanism?

I know I’m not the only one, but man I’m getting tired of Obama’s singular insistence that all the current ills of the world can be laid at Pres. Bush’s feet. You really need to learn a new song Barry, you’re running the risk of becoming a one-hit wonder.

So I guess it wasn’t Iranian students and agitators that took the US Embassy staff hostage in Tehran, Iran on Nov 4, 1979 and held them until Jan 20, 1981? The just took them to this really bitchin’ kegger and lost track of the time.

And it wasn’t Islamic extremists that blew up the Marine barracks in Beirut, Lebanon on Oct 23, 1983? Someone must have left something metal in the microwave.

So it must not have been an al Qaeda supported operative that attacked the USS Cole on Oct 20, 2000? Oh, of course, man made disaster, some sailor must have been smoking in the powder room.

And of course the grand-daddy of them all, Sept 11, 2001. We all know what happened that day, sir. And I think it’s safe to say that it wasn’t caused in any significant way from the actions or perceptions of others of Pres. Bush.
