My question is: At what?
Spending money that the country does not have? Perhaps you are referring to the coming massive increase in government. Study economics please, government is not a source of funds, it is a sink.
What are we talking about here really? We are fundamentally talking about intellectual capital or the ability to create something that was not there before. What bureaucracy would have conceived of Google? None. Why? Because there are too many people in a bureaucracy that can say “no” to a project but very very few who can say “yes”. But a couple of geekly math whizes (without a government bureaucracy behind them) put together a powerhouse business that generates real productivity.
Now what was it that Obama has done?
