107. Oscar the Grump:”Let me let you in on a secret . . . not all Christians “love” us.”
I can see that you didn’t go to Sunday School. Let’s start with a workable Christian definition of “love”: Love is wanting someone else to succeed. Please, just dwell on that for a moment. Now you should be able to understand that Christians love ALL other people, even the most unlovable. Even the Gentiles and the Samaritans. If you still don’t understand, then read the definition again.
Now, if Christians find Jews to be abrasive, insular, and irritating, this DOESN’T mean that Christians don’t love Jews. Jews are still loved and protected, regardless of their quirks. Jesus said that’s the only plan that works, and his followers believe it. I don’t know where you & Solway are getting your twisted inputs from, but we love you anyway, regardless of your miserable outlook.
