Given how Vichy aided the Germans to exterminate Jews and both De Gaulle’s and Chirac’s aid to people who wanted to exterminate them ot to mention the coawardice and opportunism of present French politicians who have decided to throw the Jews under the bus in order to keep the banlieus hapopy.
Oh if you are so fond of Medieval history the Castilian king had to sent back the French crusaders due to their anti-Jewish pogroms. He did that before a crucial battle where he expected to be heavily outnumbered.
