I disagree with using quotas, but if you cannot get the old, white men in the majority to accept new, young talent that does not look and talk exactly like them, the company will suffer.
Look how long it has taken for women to have the same opportunities as men – isn’t even more difficult with someone who might have an accent or degree from a university that is not the corporate fishing pond for talent?
And yes, I am a white male, but also a gay white male.
