Yep, you are absolutely right. My Democrat mother and Democrat sister went to a tea party to express their opposition to the out-of-control spending by government. They are very concerned about the massive spending, concerned about the encroaching power of government. They are hardly “right wing” and are in a “throw ALL the bums out” mood. This need not be just a “Republican movement,” but should be open to anyone who wants to ensure that their government, the people they vote for WILL be fiscally responsible and reverse the Statism we’re plunging towards — no matter the other issues they support.
