At one time, many people could be effectively silenced by labeling their actions and words with a vulgar innuendo such as “teabagging”. My mother would be terribly embarrassed and upset by such remarks if she knew what they meant, and like other respectable women of her day, might be shocked into silence.
I only learned the meaning of the term since MSM started tossing it around, but they are mistaken if they think they can embarrass me into silence. Since my childhood, the culture has been steeped in sexual innuendo, and I’ve raised my children in that culture. Unlike my mom, I’ve had so much exposure that I’m immune.
