I am a Democrat who is opposed to massive deficit spending and am very upset with Obama deciding to sign the stimulus bill without letting the public read it or kicking out earmarks. I am also against the government taking ownership stakes in these lousy companies.
What really upsets me even more are these catty Democrats who, a few months ago, complained about Bush’s deficits but who now excuse Obama’s $2 trillion deficits. I opposed Bush’s deficits and I oppose Obama’s but you can’t criticize Obama or else they accuse you of being some Fox News-watching right winger. That makes me want to punch them in the nose!
I’m more of an Evan Bayh type of Democrat. Sad to say that we are becoming more marginalized with these radical factions on the far far left. I’m about ready to give up and just go Independent.
