The Republic of Texas would be able to fund itself quite nicely, thank you.
Then there is the little matter of oil and refined products from Texas, etc.
Last but not least, a disproportionate percentage of the Army are T-E-X-A-N-S.
Now Middleman, want to put your money where your mouth is? Didn’t think so.
