I never liked rap music, because it has negative connotations with crime, violence, profanity and vulgarity. Sorry to say, but despite you can find rappers who are indeed talended, and are mainstrem musicans, these mentioned before connotations had somewhat penetrated the mainstream.
In early 1990′s in my country was a very loud feud between two prominent rappers, MSMs had jumped on this and hyped this to the point of absurdality (how you can differently call a situation, where the largest newspaper is printing obscene lyrics on the 4th page?), using concern for youth’s morality as an excuse.
