I attended the Asheville, NC Tea Party. The protest was awesome, powerful. Great, funny signs, American Flags and Spirit (Chanting: ‘We The People!’ and ‘USA!’) and a lot more people than I expected. Inspiring speakers. A very patriotic, determined event. I estimated about 2,000 citizens, the man next to me thought 3,000. At one point I had a realization and shouted “Hey! None of the speakers has a teleprompter!!” People laughed and it spread through the crowd followed by lots of comments like “We can’t trust the speakers! They don’t have a teleprompter! Bring us President Teleprompter!” etc….
I saw all ages, Long hippy hair, short hair, country people, retirees, working people. I won’t sit by and let my country be destroyed. We Americans don’t tolerate tyranny.
