when comparing Mormons to Muslims all I have to say is this. Polygamy in the US is not a federal right. Why? Well if anyone has been watching the shame that is fundamentalist mormonism as apparently our Law makers have (than God) they would see a system that only benefits men, old men at that, and does nothing to benefit the young women who are indoctrinated and forced into it. and forget about the ridiclous number of children born of such onesided unions that non-funda taxpayers foot the bill for.

Polygamy under religious sharia law is no different from the scourge that is Funda Mormonism. It benefits one segment of society at the expense of another.

Men push this, just as anything else that serves men, through religion.

I don’t see where any Muslim woman or any woman for that matter wish for this law to take place – unless of course they’re forbidden the free speech to talk about what THEY want for themselves. Where are the women fighting for polygamy. Please, I would love to hear them either condone or sanction it.

Until women are considered in this dialog, this law should not be passed.

Jeez, poor England, what’s happening over there?
