But let’s call the Duke professor’s pandering relativism for what it really is.
Professors of today were themselves trained and educated at the altar of political correctness and “deconstructionism”.
They apparently don’t know any better than to continue to insist on some kind of locked in and predetermined worldview.
(Recall that other Duke professors (quite a few) continued to insist the La Crosse players were culpable even after the case against them fell apart.)
These days, unfortunately, many professors seem to view the lectern as pulpit for purposes of propagating their own enormously toxic version of the human condition.
Or, in the words of the just deceased William F. Buckley…
“The academic community has in it the biggest concentration of alarmists, cranks and extremists this side of the giggle house.”
