As an Irish person I would like to say that we were standing up to Sharia creep. I’m afraid that’s not the case. The political correctness mafia holds a lot of sway.
We have state funded Muslim schools and only today the papers reported that Muslims in Catholic schools are demanding to wear the hijab even though it is not part of the designated uniform.
As with everything in this country – transport, infrastructure, drugs, and now immigration and “multicultural” – we never ever learn from Britain’s mistakes.
