Pardon my combat-arms-training-cum-military-intelligence-’preparation of the battlefield’ ‘paranoia’, but today there’s that report out from the Homeland Security folks, mimicking the MIAC’s statements of February on how anyone who disagrees with the Federal government is a potential home-grown ‘terrorist’ and a threat to national security.
20/20′s argument could be viewed as, what we in Army would call, a supporting attack, i.e., ‘Don’t own a gun!’, [as it might get in the way of the government]. We saw this ploy used in Germany in the mid-to-late 1930s.
