Obama gave a very popular keynote speech at the 2004 Democratic National Convention. As such, he was already well-known nationally, and his book (“The Audacity Of Hope”) sold very well.
This article is full of factual inaccuracies. First, the “Rezko Lot” is actually a corner lot, accessible from 2 streets.
Secondly, Obama was only an associate attorney at Barnhill from 93-96, when he was elected to the Illinois Senate.
This is simple fact-checking stuff, guys.
