Christine, you must not have read or comprehended the column. Ohio is as bad as it is primarily because of its tax climate.

The new plants are being built elsewhere. The column pointed to Greensburg, IN, 35 or so miles from the OH border, which got the new Honda plant. Workers who want to be or stay in manufacturing either need to get the tax climate changed in their state, or migrate to where the jobs are.

You also didn’t get the point that the value of manufacturing output can grow, as it has while jobs in manufacturing decrease, as was the case with agriculture.
